Re: Friday Night Skate

Hey John & Susan - thanks for coming out last night.  Brock was happy to see such a good turnout.  Sorry we scared you off with such a long distance for the first stop.

It was good to get out, and see everybody. It's been awhile. Ya, a cold run to Alabama Ice house, was a little more than I was up for, on my first night out in, I really don't know how long. So I did the sight seeing thing through the Heights for a couple of Hours, and was done. My legs were even sore to day, (just a little) after just doing that. Another couple of times out, and I should be up to speed. But I still don't do the haulin ass thing. I never did in the past either. I like to cruise and enjoy the scenery. I seldom get in a huury with anything now days it seems. I kinda dig it. OH, anybody fly Kites??

that's what I'm talkin about. Not to change the "Skates" that are already going on, but to start up a new one, for beginners, and for Folks commin back from a hot Summer, of zero activity. My legs are still just a little sore, and I bet I didn't Skate 5 Miles total. What a shame. but little Baby steps should get me back up to speed in no time flat.

Re: Friday Night Skate

I wouldn't mind a little Skate. but I just don't want to hold anyone back. I just like to poke along, and talk as I Skate, and sip on a cold beer. If I were in a hurry, I would take my car.
